The Princeton Folk Music Society has encouraged the growth of folk music in central New Jersey for 40 years. We sponsor a monthly house sing for members on the first Friday of each month and a monthly concert by visiting folk singers and songwriters, usually on the third Friday of each month. This is a group for amateur celtic folk musicians who'd like to meet up once a week to practice some tunes together. All instruments and levels are welcome, since we are a group of learning musicians. Tunes are practiced at a slow pace and you're welcome to bring sheet music, as well as encouraged to learn by ear.
