This meetup is for fans of acoustic music. Old Time, bluegrass, folk, blues rock, jazz, traditional and Contemporary music. We have jams every few weeks inside and out depends on temps, somtimes at cafes. sometimes beginners can join in but are welcome to attend. This group was started by members of the Community Church of Chapel Hill who wanted to have fun playing ukulele together. Since then, membership has expanded beyond church members, but we maintain our affiliation with the church and perform at services and other church events from time to time. This meetup group is for guitar lovers of all skill levels. We have meetings aimed at beginners, intermediates, bluegrass and have been running a bi-monthly open mic in Raleigh for those who don't mind taking that plunge.
