We are a group of folks that love to get together and play classical chamber music, particularly string quartets. Rather than be "one of a crowd" in an orchestra, in a quartet, you OWN your part! We are looking for folks that can sightread well enough to play a Mozart quartet without exploding. We have meetings aimed at beginners, intermediates, bluegrass and have been running a bi-monthly open mic in Raleigh for those who don't mind taking that plunge. He/she says what the key is and says what the chords are. Others then follow along. This jam is best for intermediate skilled musicians.
