Hopefully, this will be a once-a-week hootenanny group. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, a hootenanny is an informal party where real and wannabe folksingers bring their latest pet projects, or just come to sing/play along.  Guitarists, banjoists, washboarders, and other folk instrumentalists of all levels will be welcome, as well as vocalists. Our focus will be on folk music from all over the world as well as campfire songs.

A group for musicians, songwriters, lyricists and other musically related artists interested in writing songs regularly and receiving constructive criticism and feedback from a group of musical peers. Members should have some level of ability and experience on an instrument or with vocals or lyrics so you feel comfortable performing (informally) for the group monthly.
