A warm evening full of music and laughter, beer & snacks and great people!
Can't imagine a better way to spend a night. Everybody seemed to have a good time - Cath & I had a ball -- learned some new songs, new songwriters & singers, heard new voices, a coupla new instruments (wait'll you hear "In A Gadda Da Vida" on ukelele - your assignment for next time, Mary!)...shoot, even my banjo didn't sound half bad last night. Then there were the luscious Julie bars and empanadas and the jokes...hell, folks. I owe you all a great big "thanx." For sharing your voices, your music, yourselves. It was Grand!
So let's do this again --
But this time, I'll think we'll move it downstairs where it's a bit cooler and a bit roomier. Until last night, I didn't realize just how fast a room can fill up what with instruments, stands, amps, etc.
All of you - please join us again (same time, same channel?) next month.
I promise to play real soft - mute the banjo - and attempt to sing on-key. If I fail, wellllllll....I go outside, sit by the pond and listen to y'all.
