The 4 of us had a WONderful time on the 12th and thanx Darwin for that nice "review" (don't know what else to call it). You were a great addition to the voices with your harmony. Next time, introduce us to your guitar! It bothers to think it sat in your car all night when it could have joined in. THAT will be your entrance fee next time...the guitar MUST come in.

Would love to have more folks the next time around - this was just too much fun not to continue.

Soooooooo - our next musical meet-up is set for May 17th; again @ 7:00 and will go until we believe 50 verses of "On Top of Old Smokey" is quite enough! Kidding, not even in the repertoire but we WILL go until all get tired - or I shut off the pond lights & fall asleep with my hand in the water.

No matter, if you want to play & sing & learn new songs & meet great folks, come join us. It's safe, I promise. No one cares if you hit a wrong note (you should hear me play!) or don't know a song. Music is just the vehicle to get us all together.

If you do plan on coming & would like to sing a particular song, e-mail me w/the chords & lyrics & I'll try & make enough copies.

Once again, I'll have beer, wine, some light snacks. If you want something in particular, bring it -- & a coupla bucks to help me offset the costs would be much appreciated.

See you on the 17th.

This was a lot of fun! I enjoyed meeting all of you, and appreciated your patience, good humor, and care for everyone who came. Steve & I felt very included and right at home. Glad the Juli-Bars were a hit! Watch out though, because when we come back in July or so (have to miss June - traveling!) I'm bringing Queen songs with me - bwahahaha. :)

This is a wonderful meetup. No pressure to sing beautifully or play perfectly....just come for the fun and the joy music brings.

I've got more to say than 'yes, I'm going and please keep me in this folk meetup'. So watch out, you fellow delinquent members!

"Fun time! It was great to meet all of you and Steve & I had a lot of fun. I need to get some of those flatwound strings for my bass now - those are cool. "
    •  What a wonderful evening. The night was warm and the music was hot. Each person brought so much to the whole night. I can't wait for the next meetup in June. I hope everyone will return and others will join in the fun.

This was a lot of fun. It was good to meet all of you and I'm sure Jay and I will be back.
    •  Very fun group of folks to play music with! Everybody was patient and suggested songs and sang along!
